With more than 25 years of experience in interior design, Jen Katke leads the interior design services at Inhabit Collective, helping buyers, sellers, and homeowners transform spaces into timeless, functional, and inviting homes. Drawing on decades of experience in remodeling, staging, and full-service interior design, Jen creates thoughtful environments that enhance both the way people live and the long-term value of their homes.
Before joining Inhabit Collective, Jen founded JK Interiors, where she built a reputation for elevating interiors through creative remodels, strategic home preparation, and complete design transformations. Her design career began at the boutique design studio Santos Graham, where she developed expertise in space planning, project coordination, and sourcing. One of her earliest projects designing for the writer of As Good As It Gets sparked a passion for creating spaces that are both beautiful and deeply personal. That experience led her into house flipping, further refining her ability to create homes that are market-ready while remaining timeless and highly livable.
Today, Jen leads Inhabit Collective's comprehensive interior design services, specializing in remodel planning, full interior renovations, staging, design consulting, and preparing homes for sale. Working alongside the brokerage's agents, she helps clients uncover opportunities to improve functionality, elevate aesthetics, and maximize value before listing or after purchasing a home. Supported by a trusted team of skilled professionals, Jen ensures every project is thoughtfully managed from concept through completion.
Known for her signature Santa Barbara coastal and modern farmhouse aesthetic, Jen believes great design begins with listening. Every project is rooted in collaboration and tailored to each client's lifestyle, goals, and vision, resulting in homes that feel warm, refined, and effortlessly welcoming.
A San Clemente resident for more than 27 years, Jen draws inspiration from the Southern California coastline, her travels, and the natural world. Outside of design, she enjoys photography, spending time with her son on photo safaris, golfing, staying active, discovering new local restaurants, and enjoying life with her beloved dogs.
