Meet CATRINA

Born and raised in Dana Point and San Clemente, Catrina is a third-generation local whose life has been shaped by the coastal lifestyle she now helps clients call their own. Aside from seven years on Maui, she's spent her life along the Southern California shoreline, where her family’s legacy runs deep—her grandparents owned Mason’s BBQ on El Camino Real in the 1950s, and her parents raised her in the same home she and her husband later purchased to build a life with their three children. Proud of her Mexican heritage from her father’s side and Midwestern roots from her mother’s, Catrina carries forward the traditions, resilience, and warmth passed down through her family.

Before becoming a real estate advisor, Catrina built a distinguished 20-year career in the Action Sports industry. Starting as a clothing buyer for Maui Clothing Company in the late 1980s, she later transitioned to Hobie Hawaii before leading operations and buying for Quiksilver’s Boardriders Inc. and Laguna Surf and Sport. Over nearly two decades, she opened numerous stores and sharpened her skills in leadership, negotiation, and client relations—skills that now define her real estate career.

Entering real estate a decade ago was a lifelong vision realized. Today, Catrina is known for her client-first philosophy, combining expert negotiation, meticulous follow-through, and clear communication to ensure both buyers and sellers achieve the best possible outcomes. For her, success is measured not only in results, but in the trust, ease, and confidence her clients feel throughout the process.

As a sales partner within Inhabit Collective, she thrives in a collaborative, design-forward environment where mentorship and authentic relationships are core values. Whether guiding a first purchase, navigating a complex sale, or helping a family secure their dream property, she approaches every transaction with clarity, dedication, and care.

Outside of real estate, Catrina’s life is deeply intertwined with her family and community. She and her husband, whom she met in Hawaii, recently celebrated 32 years of marriage and have raised their children—Makena, Kiele, and Gage—in her childhood home. She’s been active in her kids’ schools, sports, and extracurriculars, from coaching softball to supporting water polo teams. A love for cooking, passed down from her parents and grandparents, continues to be a cherished family tradition. And whether fishing offshore, enjoying live music, or hosting dinner parties with close friends, Catrina finds joy in the simple experiences that make coastal living so meaningful.

Rooted locally and inspired by the coast, she is a steady hand in a changing market—helping possibility become reality.
